Overview
The programme helps students to acquire basic pedagogical training in order to operate in various educational and training contexts. After the first year in common, it is divided into two curricula: Educational sciences: provides training in areas where competences in the educational field and intervention skills are required, in order to support learning processes, with respect to activities carried on in socio-educational, cultural-recreational, socio-health and health services , at institutions, entities, associations, cooperatives operating locally or in network with the school in targeted educational projects; Human Resource Development: it prepares for the role of trainer, project manager and evaluator of professional and continuing education activities, in presence and online, in companies, public entities and private social associations, and in the field of education.

Career opportunities
The Educational Science (SED) curriculum provides knowledge and understanding in all fields where educational skills are required to support learning processes, with particular focus on activities in socio-educational, cultural-recreational and health care services (with reference to socio-educational aspects) offered by institutions, associations, non-profit organisations operating in the area and in partnership with schools. The educational offer also covers competences to be spent in educational counseling services, educational communication projects and activities aimed at producing educational tools for libraries and museums. The SED curriculum offers access to the master degrees that that allow students to become secondary school teachers.
The Human Resources Training and Development (FSRU) prepares professionals in the role of trainers, designers and assessors of professional and lifelong learning programs and activities, face-to-face and on-line, in organisational and training contexts for youth people and adults. Graduates will be able to work within companies, public bodies and non-profit associations, in first-level post-compulsory or initial training, second-level, post-secondary and post-graduate training, human resources selection and adult education continuous training for professionals. FSRU curriculum provides knowledge and understanding in order to operate in the field of distance education, as instructors and teachers in vocational and adult training, as experts in career guidance services and as experts in employment services.
